We were recently reminded of the importance of taking advantage of both HSE health checks for the kids, as well as just making sure to keep routine screening appointments with health professionals for the family. Routine screenings can catch problems long before they become major challenges. Read the Irish Times article in which our Senior Psychologist, Rebecca Good, talks about even things as simple as eye tests for the kids and how those can affect learning. In the category of taking our own medicine: I’m personally straight off to make an overdue appointment with the dentist 😉
