Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) set out the agreement between Éirim (“we”, “us”, “our”) and clients or their legal guardians (“you”, “the Client”) in relation to psychological assessments and related services. By booking an assessment with us, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

Éirim provides professional psychological assessments and related services for children and young people. Our assessments are designed to provide professional guidance for educational and developmental purposes. They are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.

2. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment date.

The remaining balance is due on the day of the assessment.

Deposits are strictly non-refundable, including in cases of illness or unforeseen circumstances. Clients may, however, reschedule their appointment with at least two working days’ notice without losing their deposit.

If less than two working days’ notice is given, or if you do not attend your appointment (“no-show”), the booking deposit will be forfeited.

For the purposes of these Terms, ‘working days’ means Monday to Friday, excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays in Ireland.

3. Reports & Confidentiality

Reports are confidential to the person(s) for whom they are written.
Clients may use reports for personal, educational, or clinical purposes. Éirim retains intellectual property rights in the assessment methods, test materials, and report structure. Reports must not be reproduced, distributed, or altered without Éirim’s written consent.

No responsibility is accepted by Éirim if a report is made available to unauthorised persons.

4. Data Protection & Record Retention

In line with the Data Protection Act and GDPR, test materials will be retained securely for three years before being destroyed. An electronic copy of the final report and assessment results will be securely stored for fifteen years.

5. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide complete and accurate information relevant to the assessment.

You agree to attend scheduled appointments on time and follow any preparation guidelines provided.

6. Limitations of Liability

Our assessments are conducted in line with professional standards and the ethical codes of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).

Our assessments are intended to provide professional guidance for educational and developmental purposes. They are not a substitute for medical advice. While we take care to ensure accuracy, Éirim cannot be held liable for decisions or actions taken by third parties on the basis of our reports.

7. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with our services, please contact us in writing at info@eirim.ie. We will make every effort to resolve concerns in a fair and timely manner.

8. Online Courses

Online training courses are provided through our partner company, Education Elephant, and are subject to their separate Terms & Conditions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
