We are running two 5 day summer courses in course in Standardised Testing and Assessment  this July.  Completion of the 5 day course leads to entitlement of 3 EPV Days as per Department of Education criteria.

Learning Support and Resource Teachers are often required to read and understand many professional reports (speech and language, occupational therapy and psycho-educational reports) as well as carry out tests on students in school.  This course aims to enhance your skills, confidence and competence both reading reports, carrying out testing and giving feedback to teachers and parents.

The course covers the following areas:

• Choosing appropriate tests for different groups of individuals or individuals.
• Administering psychometric tests
• Scoring and interpreting test results
• Report writing and communicating results to others
• Identifying students for support
• Monitoring student progress
• Security & Confidentiality

The course will be taught to you by experienced educational psychologists, face to face, over five days.
