Autistic children and adults can experience high levels of anxiety. Unfortunately, many general programs developed to reduce anxiety don't work with this autistic population. In this course you'll learn how to identify and support children and young people that may be suffering from anxiety, using effective evidence based and practical methods. This course is suitable for parents, teachers and professionals working autism, The course is delivered by Dr. Lauren Moscowitz who is an associate psychology professor and mum to autistic children. This course is packed with information, real life examples and a clear step by step guide on how to support both verbal and non verbal autistic children and young people. Watch and learn how to manage and avoid meltdowns, increase communication, calm situations and avoid and reduce anxiety in your child.
